Digital Readiness Workshop
This training is designed to familiarize participants with all the tools and the process that they will use during their work experience project. This training is the prerequisite to participating in an upcoming work experience project.


March 30, 2016 – June 24, 2016

SD Central Work Experience Project
This is a paid, 12-week, hands-on training project which allows participating youth to learn, while managing digital media projects for actual clients. To participate you must be between the ages of 16 and 24, live in the San Diego Metro area and come from a low-income household or identify as a minority or at-risk youth. As a prerequisite to attend this training, you must attend at least one readiness workshop.


June 6, 2016 – August 26, 2016

Solana Beach Work Experience Project
Youth Campaigns has partnered with My Social Media Monster, the Solana Beach Chamber of Commerce and the Solana Beach Library to create a special 3-month project for the Solana Beach community. This special Social Media Project will train and certify twelve to fifteen underprivileged Solana Beach youth along with other youth between the ages of 16 to 24. At the completion of the training portion of the program, each youth will receive a certification and will be employed to manage social media for local businesses. This project will help local business gain much-needed exposure while providing youth an opportunity to get valuable work experience in the fastest growing industry in the world. As a prerequisite to attend this training, you must attend at least one readiness workshop.
