News 12, the exclusive 24-hour news channel for Long Island and the tri-state area, has announced that Don Smith will be their new evening news anchor. Smith, who has been with News 12 for 15 years, will be taking over for retiring anchor Jim Dolan.

Who is Don Smith?

Don Smith is a familiar face to Long Island viewers. He’s been a broadcaster for more than three decades, most recently as the evening news anchor at News 12 Long Island.
