Neil Cavuto is an American television personality, commentator, and business journalist working for Fox News. He is the host of three television programs: Your World with Neil Cavuto, Cavuto on Business, and Cavuto Live.

Neil Cavuto was born and raised in Westbury, New York, in the United States. His father, Jim, was of Italian descent, while his mother, Joan, was of Irish ancestry. Cavuto has three older sisters. He attended Brewster High School, in Brewster, New York.

He is the oldest of three children. Cavuto excelled in school and graduated from the local Catholic high school, St. Joseph’s College, in 1976. Start in journalism
Cavuto’s career in journalism started as ageneral assignment reporter for WDEL-TV in Wilmington, Delaware in 1975. From there, he went on to Washington, D.C., where he became a reporter and weekend anchor for WTTG-TV in 1978. He left Washington after two years and took a position as the consumer editor at Boston Television station WHDH-TV. In 1983, Cavuto returned to Washington and took a job with the Independent Network News (INN), where he served as a network correspondent covering stories all over the world.
In 1987, Cavuto began working for CNBC, first as an on-air reporter and then as the co-host of “Business Center”, CNBC’s nightly business news show. In 1996, Cavuto became the host of “Your World with Neil Cavuto”, which aired weekdays at 4pm ET on Fox News Channel. In 2001, he also began hosting “Cavuto on Business”, which airs Saturdays at 10am ET on Fox News Channel.
Working at Fox News
Cavuto began working at Fox News in 1996, after leaving CNBC. At Fox News, he is the host of Your World with Neil Cavuto, a business news show, and also serves as the network’s Senior Vice President and Managing Editor of Business News. He also writes a column for the Fox News website, and has authored two books.
Cavuto has interviewed many high-profile guests on his show, including President Donald Trump, Vice President Mike Pence, former Presidents Jimmy Carter and Bill Clinton, numerous members of Congress, and business leaders such as Warren Buffett and Bill Gates.

Fox News’ Neil Cavuto was born in September of 1958 in Westbury, New York to an Italian-American family. His father was a small business owner and his mother was a housewife. Cavuto has three sisters. He attended St. Pius X Preparatory Seminary in his youth and then transferred to a public high school. Cavuto went on to college at St. Bonaventure University.
Cavuto is married to Mary Fulling. They have three children together.
Cavuto and his wife Mary have three children. His daughter Ashley is a senior at Boston College. His son Todd is attending Penn State University, and his youngest child, Lauren, is in high school.
In his personal life, Cavuto enjoys running and has completed several marathons. He is also an amateur pilot.
