Vice News is a current affairs channel from Vice Media, launched on February 29, 2016. It replaces Vice’s previous flagship news program, VICE on HBO. Vice News Tonight airs weeknights on HBO at 7:30 PM Eastern Time, with encores at 11:00 PM and 2:30 AM. The half-hour program focuses on “under-reported stories from around the world.”[1]

On May 18, 2018, it was announced that Viago Paeniu would take over as interim host of Vice News Tonight following chars host Yemen Mokhtarzada’s departure from the organization.[2][3][4]
