How to remove news from the taskbar
You can remove news from the taskbar by following a few simple steps. First, find the news icon on the taskbar and right-click it. Then, select the “Remove from taskbar” option. This will remove the news icon from the taskbar.
Open the settings app
1)Open the settings app by clicking on the start menu and then selecting the gear icon.
2)In the settings app, click on “personalization” and then select “taskbar” from the left menu.
3)On the taskbar settings page, scroll down to the “news and interests” section and toggle off the switch next to “show news and interests on the taskbar.”
Go to the personalization section
In order to remove news from the taskbar, you will need to access the personalization section of your settings. To do this, you can either type “personalization” into the search bar or you can go to the “Start” menu and select “Settings.” Once you are in the personalization section, you will need to find the “Themes” tab and select it.
Once you are in the themes tab, you will scroll down until you find the “Related Settings” section. In this section, there will be an option that says “Taskbar.” You will want to select this option so that you can access the taskbar settings.
Once you are in the taskbar settings, you will scroll down until you see the section that says “News and interests.” In this section, there will be a toggle that says “Show news and interests on the taskbar.” You will want to make sure that this toggle is turned off so that news is no longer shown on your taskbar.
Select the taskbar tab
To remove news from the taskbar, first select the taskbar tab on the left side of the screen. This will open a list of options for the taskbar. Find the “News” icon and click on it. This will open a menu of options for News. Find the “Remove” option and click on it.
Scroll down and find the news and interests section
News and interests is a feature in the taskbar on Windows 10 that shows you quick news updates as well as updates on your interests, such as the weather, sports scores, and more. You can add or remove the feature from the taskbar.
If you want to remove news and interests from your taskbar, scroll down and find the news and interests section. Right-click on it and select “Turn off.”
Turn off the toggle switch
Microsoft added news to the taskbar in an attempt to show users stories they might be interested in, but not everyone wants headlines taking up space on their toolbar. Here’s how to remove news from the taskbar.
1. Right-click on the taskbar and select Taskbar settings from the menu that pops up.
2. Scroll down to the Notifications section and turn off the toggle switch next to Show tips about Windows in the taskbar.
3. Now restart your computer for the changes to take effect.
